FAQ

Questions? Browse some of our frequently asked questions or contact us for more.

Where are your materials sourced?

Our reclaimed materials are sourced from turn-of-the-century barns and other farm buildings. We reclaim buildings mostly throughout our home state of Michigan, but also in surrounding states, including WI, IL, IN, and OH.

What is the lead time on orders?

Lead times depend on order size, and scarcity of materials. In stock items are typically shipped within 3 business days, while larger and custom orders typically have a 4 to 6 week lead time. Please request a custom quote to get an accurate estimate for your project.

How does shipping work?

For large orders, we will arrange shipping and shipping costs at the time of ordering. Small items are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground, and large orders are shipped with a load board, or one of our delivery drivers will deliver it personally.

Where can you ship items?

We can ship anywhere in the lower 48 states, Canada, and Alaska. Please contact us for delivery options to Hawaii, Mexico, or another country.

Do you buy barns / reclaimed lumber?

Yes, we sometimes purchase reclaimed wood and other materials for resale. If you have something you believe we might be interested in, please contact us.

Do you take existing barns down?

We offer a free barn removal service for turn-of-the-century wooden buildings, in exchange for the wood. Not all barns qualify, or are close enough to our home state of Michigan for us to take it down for free. For full details, and to send a Barn Removal Request, please visit our Barn Removal page.
